Rammed Home....
The Yorkshire Rams hailing from Leeds, came to the Trojans home field with possibly the greatest number of players the Trojans have faced at home.
And from the start it was a match up that the depleted Trojans would find hard to overcome. The game began as a war of attrition with both teams squaring up to each other, but the Rams offensive front line were ahead of the game with both build and speed giving them the edge. An edge that cut through the Trojans with relative ease.
By the end of the first quarter it was already starting to look like the Trojans might not win this home battle.
The Rams never missed a beat in the 2nd quarter, and to add to the Trojans woes, a couple of injuries pushed the team further as the score line increased against them.
Sadly, "the game had to be forfeited at half time by the Trojans due to a number of injuries to their offensive and defensive linemen."
Although this was a disappointment to many, and it was a tough decision to make, but it was for the best of all concerned.
The Trojans now 1 win from 3 games, will meet the Surge away in two weeks time.
I am certain that this game should be seen as a blip and the Trojans will again rally and regain their self-esteem to ensure the remainder of the season goes closer to plan.
Keep the spirits up guys!
GO TROJANS !!!
