Battered Rams.
The last home game of the season, following the Summer away games, was supposed to be against the Yorkshire Rams.
But "due to an unprecedented string of serious injuries to players in key positions" the Rams unfortunately could not field a team against the Trojans.
Under BAFL League rules the Rams forfeited the game in favour of the Trojans, who held a practice session on the Sunday planned for the match up against fellow Team Mates instead of playing this final regular season game.
However spirits in the camp appeared very high, due in no small part to the Trojans looking forward to the Semi Final game on September 9th.
With "home field advantage" the game saw the MCP Ipswich Cardinals travel 445 miles from their own turf at the Northgate International Sport Centre.
The "must win" game was a possible step on the advance to the Britbowl Division 1 Final in Sheffield on the 22nd of September 2007.
Pictures of the Cardinals vs Trojans match are under "Cardinals fly in" in the menu.
