Wildcats Strike.....
The second home game of 2010, saw the West Coast Trojans welcome the Inverness based Highland Wildcats to Renfrew..
A slightly depleted Trojans side soon discovered that these visitors were living up to their name. Their claws were out and by half time it was 20-0 to the Highlanders.
The half time team talk, must have done some good as the Trojans rallied in the third quarter and came back to within 5 points of the Wildcats. A win for the Trojans was "do-able"
With the Wildcats showing signs of fatigue with the heat, the quote, "this is what it's like to play 4 quarter football" was overheard as the team tried to boast their moral and their effort.
It worked, as the fourth quarter returned to the visitors hands again.
The game ended with the final score 48-20 to the Highland Wildcats.
