Donny, donny, donny!

A new Season...a new Division...a new Home field....and a new start.

The West Coast Trojans having been promoted following their excellent 2006 season, set up their new home at the King George V Playing Fields in Renfrew, Scotland.

The Astroturf surface of the past two seasons giving way to grass, and as an added bonus the field also had a full set of goalposts, one at each end!!

First to meet the Trojans on their new home turf were the Doncaster Mustangs.

Both sides were a little rusty; to be expected at the beginning of a new season and both teams played well.
Although the score line fell heavily in the Trojans favour by the end of the game this did not stop the game being entertaining, and a good example of the sport was watched by the spectators whom seemed to be in larger numbers.

Update: The Mustangs have had a name change during the off season, and will next meet the Trojans as the South Yorkshire Mustangs.
