Blackhawks come down.....

West Coast Trojans played their last regular season game of the 2011 season at Scotstoun Stadium on Sunday 14th August..

Their opponents were the Clyde Valley Blackhawks from Wishaw.
The Blackhawks were originally the team that were going to face the Trojans in week 1, but the match up had to be rearranged, and first became last.

Once again the Trojans took to the field, and having already secured the Div 2 North Championship title, they set their target on being 10 games without loss and keeping the Perfect Season alive.

The first quarter action saw both teams square up, but it was soon apparent that the undermanned Blackhawks could not hold off the Trojans, and West Coast scored several times without serious challenge. The third quarter saw more scores and the divide grow as some Blackhawks suffered injury or fatigue and the game was eventually called early in the the Fourth.

The Trojans march on and now enter the Playoffs as number 1 seed in the division and with the vital Home Field Advantage.

The quarter final playoff game, will see the Milton Keynes Pathfinders travel to Scotstoun Stadium and take on the Trojans on the the 28th August.

10yardline will be there to cover the game.
