A welcome to 10Yardline.

If you are reading this, then there is a chance that you are interested in the sport of American Football, photography or would just like to find out more about 10yardline.

For over 6 years 10yardline has aimed to promote the sport through photography, whilst at the same time providing a service to the most important people in the game, the players.

Coverage of games has continually increased and this year is no exception. The more the better.

10yardline may currently be just one person with a camera, usually found on the sidelines in the pouring rain, it is Scotland after all, attempting to capture the action on the field .
( And achieving it....well most of the time...! )

But you can be sure that:

10yardline is dedicated to promoting the great sport of American Football ...

So after that intro you are still interested in finding out more, then feel free to browse around the ever increasing pages and images on the site. Enjoy .

Hard Drive for 10yardline..

Revolution in a spin

Like a bolt from the blue, a little message announced itself mere seconds before a hard drive crashed out.

A hard drive containing a windows system, my windows system. And in a moment slightly faster than a Trojans running back, 10yardline lost all access to this site.

Still not to worry, a few days knocking the old PC around and slowly normality is returning.

For those people especially Pyros who are waiting for the images from the last home game, please bear with me a little longer.

The images are safe and will be put up on 10yardline and photoboxgallery/10yardline sites very soon.

New Print buying service begins

At the request of several players, 10yardline has decided to introduce a new service that will allow players to obtain prints of images taken at the various games.

As 10yardline is not out to make a profit, these images will be available at low prices and any sales will go towards improving the photo equipment for future seasons.

(The present gear is over five years old and while not creaking yet, there will come that day when something gives, hopefully not while trying to catch that crucial touchdown.)

To start out, the prints will be available as 6x4s and the crop may be slightly different from the usual slideshow image. But it will be professionally printed on proper photographic paper and will not have the watermark that all slideshow images have. (Granted you have to look close to see it this season anyway. )

You can let me know what you think of the new service and print costs, or just contact me for copies of images taken from past games and i'll make them available sooner.
